Notes:
Genuine metals are used in the casting process. Casts can be produced in a variety of materials e.g. Bronze, Copper, Brass, Iron and Aluminium.

Non-metals such as Marble, Slate, etc. are also used in the casting process.  In fact, most dry materials can be cast e.g. ash from burnt materials.
